I am constantly looking for information and photo's of the original Easyroller / Freedom machine Vans. Pease feel free to email me with any pictures / articles or information you may have.

Here she is on her way to Race Paint in Mordialloc for the start of her transformation. Scroll over the pics for a bit of a description or click to enlarge.

Knowing it may be awhile before she goes to Race Paint, i covered her in a fairly light coat of Epoxy.

First Step......Out with the old

Only removing what is absolutely necessary

Rear passenger lower quarter removed, ready for the newie.

New quarter all shaped up and fitted - starting to look the part now

The old passenger side sill removed with the new one laying there ready for fitting.

Shaping the new rear lower quarters, i purchased these in england but they need a little bit of persuasion, not mention Carstons magic!!

Just a little more of the 'C' word

While working on the door, Carston found a little more rust than first expected, Solution: use the left over from the side sill, perfect shape and fit.

New sill piece being test fitted into the door.

Not sure what sort of mirrors we will be fitting as yet so the old holes are all welded up.

Nose Cone being checked for fitting

Lower Valance being checked, Its worth noting here that the lower Valance is having special brackets made so that it can be removed easily in the even of an accident or more importantly, if we need to pull the motor or radiator out - a lot easier access

The Nose had to be cut quite a lot to get it to fit, lucky both John and Carston are wizards at glassing

This pic shows just how good these boys are, that cone is now fitting like a bum in a bucket

The rear number is also having modified brackets made in the event of 'bingle' it can be easily removed

Even the apprentice gets in on the act, rubbing down the epoxy
